ALEX – Website Development, Forms & Client Support

SPD Auto Repair

Site: https://spdautorepair.com/

Work Type: AI + Manual Work

Review Integration

Work continued on integrating CarGurus, YellowPages, and Facebook reviews through WP Reviews Pro with assistance from OpenClaw.

The three review sources were found to be configured, but additional issues remained:

  • CarGurus returned an invalid_url error during its latest scrape.
  • YellowPages returned invalid_url errors during its latest scrape attempts.
  • Facebook was configured but had not yet had a scrape requested.

Further scraping also requires sufficient WP Reviews Pro review credits.

Home Page Updates

The old homepage banner was removed and replaced with the new client-provided image.

The new image was tested across desktop, tablet, and mobile layouts. Responsive sizing, spacing, and alignment issues were corrected.

About Page

The About page hero background image was replaced with a new image and verified after implementation.

Social Media Setup

An official Instagram account was created for SPD Auto Repair and configured with business contact information and professional branding.

No content was published without approval.

A TikTok account could not be completed because of a signup issue, and installation of the TikTok application was also prevented by insufficient storage on the test mobile device.

Air Vision Adventures

Site: https://airvisionadventures.ca/

Work Type: Manual Work

A Loom walkthrough was created explaining how to manage payment and course-access settings.

The walkthrough covered Test Mode and Live Mode, SureCart payment processors, product settings, SureDash course management, and customer course access.

The course purchase and access workflow was tested successfully in Test Mode. The confirmation popup and course-access links were verified.

No pricing, payment configuration, or Live Mode access rules were changed.

Global Press Release

Development Site: https://globalpressrelease.allaboutwebservices.com/

Work Type: AI + Manual Work

Updates were completed on the Pricing and Sign-Up for Press Release pages.

Transparent-header issues were corrected, unnecessary space above the hero sections was removed, and the resulting layouts were verified.

Tula Thomas

Site: https://www.tulathomas.com/

Work Type: AI + Manual Work

A SureForms contact form was created.

Work included creating the form, adding reCAPTCHA keys, testing submissions, and reviewing email-notification configuration.

The form submitted successfully, but the expected email notification was not received.

Attempts were also made to place the form on the Contact page using OpenClaw. Investigation indicated that the visible contact area was generated through the site’s template/plugin structure rather than standard editable page content.

Status: Form Created / Notification and Page Integration Require Follow-Up

TonyAI – Website QA

Site: https://tonyai.ca/

Work Type: Manual QA

A full-site audit was conducted across desktop and mobile layouts.

  • The Story navigation link changed the URL hash without correctly navigating to the intended section.

Tula Thomas – Website QA

Manual QA identified additional routing and readability issues.

The Request a Home Value Consultation action showed ineffective anchor-routing behavior.

NANCY – Website Development, Live/Dev Matching & Site Creation

Work Type: AI + Manual Work

Ceilidh Cottages / HEATWAVE Development Work

Nancy completed an extensive development, styling, content-comparison, and responsive QA cycle on the development environment while ensuring that the live site remained unchanged.

Homepage Banner

The Campterra page-title/breadcrumb banner was hidden specifically on the development homepage.

Testing confirmed that the rule was correctly scoped and that banners remained visible on standard pages such as About Us.

Homepage Typography Matching

Typography inconsistencies between the development and live homepages were corrected.

Updates included matching the Welcome heading, introduction text, Terms button, and Accommodations heading to the corresponding live-site typography, sizing, weight, colors, and spacing.

Rendered styles were verified after implementation.

Dev and Live Style Comparison

The Home and About Us pages were compared between the development and live environments.

Typography, spacing, sizing, line wrapping, content widths, and other visual styling were adjusted where necessary to provide closer consistency.

About Us Page

The development About Us page was updated to more closely match the live page.

Work included:

  • Updating paragraph colors.
  • Increasing the content width.
  • Matching line wrapping.
  • Matching paragraph height.
  • Maintaining consistent fonts, sizes, and line heights.

Breadcrumb Restoration

Missing breadcrumbs were restored across standard development pages.

The update restored the expected banner height and breadcrumb hierarchy.

Standard pages now display Home / Current Page, while nested booking and cottage pages use the appropriate parent hierarchy.

The development homepage remained unchanged with its banner hidden.

The implementation was contained in a reversible development-only file.

Cottage Wi-Fi Information

An inconsistency between live and development cottage information was corrected.

Cottages #1, #2, #3, and #5 were updated from:

“WIFI located at the Internet Cafe”

to:

“WIFI located at the office.”

The updated wording was verified, while Cottage #4 and the live website remained unchanged.

Menu Label Corrections

Two development-site menu labels were corrected:

  • LOCAL THING TO DO → LOCAL THINGS TO DO
  • DIRECTION → DIRECTIONS

The menu was verified on desktop and mobile, including responsive behavior and horizontal-overflow checks.

Mobile Header Optimization

The development mobile header was adjusted to match the live-site height more closely.

The duplicate site title/tagline display was disabled and the header height was reduced from approximately 302px to 239px.

Desktop and mobile layouts were verified, along with menu functionality and horizontal-overflow behavior.

Homepage Hero & Carousel

The development homepage hero was corrected to better match the live website.

Work included:

  • Setting West Mabou Beach as the opening slide.
  • Restoring centered “Welcome to Ceilidh Cottages” text.
  • Restoring original slide messages.
  • Standardizing slide heights.
  • Reducing excessive space between the hero and booking form.
  • Adding descriptive image ALT text.
  • Verifying carousel navigation.
  • Testing desktop and mobile layouts.

Homepage Notices & Introduction

Missing live-site visual elements were restored on the development homepage.

The prominent Pool Notice and seasonal promotional graphic were restored, while the campground photograph was retained beneath the promotional graphic.

Descriptive ALT text was added and responsive layouts were verified.

Homepage Reviews

The development review section was updated to better match the current live experience.

Work included:

  • Prioritizing current 2026 reviews.
  • Matching desktop card dimensions.
  • Displaying three cards across on desktop.
  • Restoring the floating review card and overlay.
  • Verifying the close button.
  • Verifying carousel navigation.
  • Checking desktop and mobile responsiveness.
  • Clearing development cache.

Development QA

The completed work was reviewed across desktop and mobile layouts.

Testing confirmed:

  • Typography and visual consistency.
  • Correct breadcrumbs.
  • Updated menu labels.
  • Mobile-header behavior.
  • Hero and carousel functionality.
  • Homepage notice presentation.
  • Review functionality.
  • No horizontal overflow in the tested layouts.
  • Development-only scope of the changes.
  • No modifications to the live website.

ZipWP Site Creation

Work Type: AI + Manual Work

Nancy also continued the assigned ZipWP site-creation workflow.

Work included:

  • Gathering required website details using ChatGPT.
  • Using the prepared information to create websites through ZipWP.
  • Updating the tracking sheet with newly created site information.
  • Creating and continuing work on the assigned websites.

Pending Work

Several items remain active following the day’s work.

HEATWAVE for SickKids® requires image assets and further development before staging approval. Lender Portal fee-type functionality remains pending development and QA. Tula Thomas requires further contact-form integration and email-notification troubleshooting.

SPD Auto Repair’s external review integration requires additional follow-up because of source scraping errors and review-credit requirements.

Canadian Obituaries’ 4XX URL investigation and Search Console monitoring remain active, while All About Durham’s broader SEO optimization continues.

She also continued the AI-assisted and manual ZipWP site-creation workflow.
