ELON – Website Development, Publishing, Technical Operations & Team Coordination

Oshawa Downtown – Development Website Improvements

Development Site: https://oshawadowntown.aaws.site/

Work Type: WordPress Development + Content + Responsive QA

Completed development-site improvements covering existing pages, new content sections, navigation, forms, and responsive layouts.

The Contact, About, and Services pages were improved to provide clearer information and a more consistent user experience.

New pages created included:

  • History
  • Business Directory
  • Advertise
  • Advertising Form
  • FAQs
  • Ask a Question
  • Three legal-review pages

The newly created pages received standardized hero sections using the dark navy background color #142436 with readable light text.

All nine new pages were added to organized header dropdown menus while preserving the existing footer navigation.

Additional improvements included form readability, advertising information, page hierarchy, navigation, and mobile button presentation.

Edited pages were checked across seven viewport widths, including links, images, horizontal overflow, and JavaScript errors.

The development site’s noindex settings and existing form configurations were preserved.

Remaining Work

The Business Directory requires a functioning directory integration and verified business listings.

Legal content requires website-owner approval.

The Hostinger cache must be refreshed to ensure the latest header and footer appear consistently.

The live website was not modified.

Home Buying Seminars – Responsive & Link Audit

Development Site: https://homebuyingseminars.aaws.site/

Work Type: Website QA + Responsive Design + Form Improvements

Completed a responsive and link audit covering six pages, three articles, the guides archive, and the standalone contact form.

Testing was performed across five screen widths.

Identified and corrected:

  • White text appearing on white form backgrounds.
  • Narrow-screen reCAPTCHA overflow.
  • Form readability issues.

Internal and external links were checked, with no confirmed dead links remaining.

Representative navigation, responsive layouts, and final form sizing were verified without submitting a live enquiry.

Remaining Work

The default homepage continues to serve an older cached version.

Hosting/CDN cache clearance and a final homepage recheck are required.

The Durham Calendar – Organizer Contact Updates

Site: https://thedurhamcalendar.com/

Work Type: Event Research + WordPress Content Updates + Verification

Updated all 16 existing organizer records using verified publicly available contact information.

Final event-contact coverage included:

  • 19 events with email addresses.
  • 16 events with phone numbers.
  • 15 events with both email and phone information.

All 20 existing event pages were verified through fresh data reads and public HTML checks.

Unavailable contact details were left blank rather than invented.

Event dates, venues, content, and publication statuses remained unchanged.

Status: Completed

Canadian Obituaries – Publishing & Verification

Site: https://canadianobituaries.com/

A 535-row funeral-home spreadsheet was reviewed without modifying the original file.

Remaining Work

The publishing backlog includes 11 verified Echovita records, additional Echovita pages, 29 Dignity candidates, 10 MAK notices, and four remaining morning drafts.

Additional holds involve MAK access failures, US-contaminated Newcastle and Mangan listings, missing Korneluk obituary text, and Jeffrey Paice’s unconfirmed exact death date.

The figures above were taken from the supplied publishing report and were not independently reverified during daily-report preparation.

  • Shop navigation.
  • The 59-product catalogue.
  • Where and When We’re Flying page.
  • Windy.com integration.
  • DJI Coming Soon content.

Reviewed the Products page and identified that NOVA, SOL, and PHI general brand links should appear before their respective wing products.

Prepared Mike’s task instructions to correct the links and verify desktop/mobile behavior.

Oshawa Chiropractor – SEO Content Development

Site: https://oshawachiropractor.com/

Work Type: AI-Assisted + Manual SEO Work

Continued SEO content research using AnswerThePublic, focusing on questions related to chiropractic care.

Eleven question-based keyword opportunities were reviewed and grouped according to search intent.

The research covered professional qualifications, treatment safety, insurance coverage, tax eligibility, and comparisons between chiropractors and physiotherapists.

Three detailed SEO-oriented articles were prepared:

1. Are Chiropractors Real Doctors? Understanding Chiropractic Care, Legitimacy, and Safety

Covers professional qualifications, regulation in Ontario, chiropractic safety, treatment expectations, and frequently asked questions.

2. Are Chiropractor Visits Covered by Insurance in Ontario?

Covers private insurance, OHIP, tax considerations, and differences between Canadian coverage and U.S. Medicare.

3. Are Chiropractors and Physiotherapists the Same? Understanding the Differences

Explains the differences and overlaps between chiropractic and physiotherapy services, treatment approaches, and considerations when choosing a healthcare professional.

SEO titles, URL slugs, focus keywords, meta descriptions, internal-link recommendations, and featured-image suggestions were prepared.

The 11 research questions were consolidated into three articles to avoid unnecessary topic overlap.

Status: Three Articles Prepared; Editorial Review and Publication Pending

Continued mobile PageSpeed optimization.

The recorded performance progression was:

  • Initial score: 66/100.
  • Previous improved score: 69/100.
  • Latest score: 71/100.

The latest result represents a two-point improvement from the previous measurement and five points from the initial score.

Further optimization remains necessary to work toward the good-performance range.

The next stage includes reviewing PageSpeed diagnostics, improving resource loading where appropriate, and retesting while preserving the website’s design and functionality.

Status: Improvement Recorded; Further Optimization Pending

Site: https://canadianobituaries.com/

Work Type: AI-Assisted + Manual SEO Work

Continued the technical SEO correction workflow.

The work focused on four issue categories:

  • Duplicate meta descriptions.
  • Excessively long title tags.
  • Duplicate title tags.
  • Multiple meta description tags.

AI-assisted analysis supported the identification and organization of affected pages, while corrections and relevant checks were handled manually.

The objective was to improve metadata uniqueness, relevance, title readability, and HTML metadata consistency without unnecessary changes to obituary content.

The assigned correction work for all four categories was reported completed.

A refreshed SEO audit and live HTML verification remain appropriate to confirm the final resolved status.

ALEX – Website Development & Social Media

No separate October 15 staff report was provided for Alex.

The day’s central project report records development work on Oshawa Downtown and Home Buying Seminars, while the Realtor Appreciation Events review was prepared as an assignment for Alex.

The expiry-year dropdown was updated to cover 2026–2036.

The confirmation email was also improved with HEATWAVE branding, welcome wording, registration details, and the slogan:

Heal the Future. Change the Game.

A separate test checked whether entered card details appeared in outgoing emails. They were not displayed in the tested emails.

This does not establish secure card-data storage or PCI compliance.
