  • Re-tested the complete website and prepared a detailed issue report.

  • Compared all 1,963 available new-site obituary entries against the live site.
  • Confirmed titles, post dates, primary content, images, categories, locations, and provinces generally matched for migrated entries.
  • Identified 16 obituary entries with unusually short content requiring manual review.
  • Identified 8 duplicate obituary groups representing 16 duplicate entries.
  • Reviewed layout differences between the new and live obituary sites.
  • Identified missing visible birth/death date information beneath obituary titles.
  • Noted that new-site obituary titles display in all capital letters.
  • Identified a cookie banner overlapping lower page content.
  • Identified differences in navigation and sidebar structure that require approval.

NANCY – Client Website Update, SEO Support & SPD Invoice System Development

Worked on a client-facing seasonal notice, SEO support and task guidance, and completion of two separate SPD Auto Repair invoice systems.

Action Taken / Outcome:

  • Refined the notice design and presentation using Stitch.

  • Replaced an unreliable conditional email workflow with a direct-send process.
  • Verified that invoices save correctly and client emails can be sent with success/failure feedback.
  • Fixed quantity calculation issues by defaulting invoice quantities to 1.
  • Prevented unused or blank line items from appearing in invoice output.
  • Added sequential automatic invoice numbering.
  • Made the customer Email field required.
  • Redesigned the invoice interface with branded styling, improved spacing, clear totals, and responsive mobile behavior.
  • Added dedicated WordPress admin navigation for Create Invoice, Invoice Entries, and Print/PDF Invoices.
  • Completed the alternative SureForms-based invoice system separately from the original custom-built invoice plugin.
  • Confirmed both invoice systems were completed and reviewed.
  • Recorded and shared a Loom walkthrough for internal review.
