
Another productive day at All About Web Services! Our team has been hard at work across development, design, content management, and SEO. From launching new site features for our Durham partners to refining backend AI integrations, here is the breakdown of our progress for December 8th.
Adam: AI & Data Aggregation
Adam made significant progress on the AI Obituaries Informer project. Key highlights include:
- Resolved persistent bugs in the web scraping modules.
- Finalized the proposed architecture for the AI Obituaries Informer.
- Successfully initiated local runs to aggregate the initial database entries.
Nancy: SEO & Site Maintenance
Nancy focused heavily on SEO optimization and technical fixes for our client sites, specifically Oshawa Chiropractor and Sandys Flowers.
- Sandys Flowers: Updated email contact information on AceProject.
- Oshawa Chiropractor:
- SEO Fixes: Resolved missing meta descriptions on the Team Members page and added H1 tags/description paragraphs to improve page structure.
- Broken Link Remediation: Utilized the “Check My Links” Chrome extension to identify and fix broken links across several key pages, including the Prenatal Care, Workplace Health, and Foot Care guides.
- Technical Resolutions: Identified and resolved “Page returned 4xx status code” issues across 12 pages.
- Professional Development: To ensure best practices, Nancy referenced the following tutorials for guidance on broken links, 4xx errors, and Astra theme customization:
Zara: Content Management & Updates
Zara managed content updates across multiple platforms and prepared for upcoming blog tasks.
- Obituary Updates: Verified and posted new obituaries for
Durham Obituaries (6 posts) and NecroCanada (5posts) ,British columbia (10 posts). - Aruba News: Monitored local Aruba news sources (Diario.aw, Aruba Today, etc.) and published 12 new news items.
- Durham Heating & Air: Edited the “About” page content and created new blog post content.
- New Assignments: Met with Elon to discuss and initiate the new blog posting task for All About Web Services.
Leo: NecroCanada Maintenance
Leo focused on keeping the NecroCanada database current.
- Monitored funeral homes for new listings.
- Successfully posted 38 new obituaries for the Ontario region.
Mike: Web Design & Ad Creatives
Mike dedicated his time to the full-stack development of My Legacy Studio and creating promotional assets for the Durham network.
- My Legacy Studio: Completed development of the Header, Footer, Hero Section, Warm Intro, “Why Legacy Matters,” Legacy Collection, Testimonials, and Contact sections.
- Finalized the About Wendy Page.
- Ad Design: Designed and implemented new banner ads for the following sites:
Kevin: Site Health & Development
Kevin worked on audio optimization and site health improvements for legal and health clients.
- Ray of Light: Compressed audio files using Audacity and online converters to optimize bitrate, creating a new test page for implementation.
- King Law:
- Updated site content and added animations throughout King Law.
- Created and published the About Us and Ask a Question pages.
- Verified mobile/laptop responsiveness and form functionality.
- BioHealth:
- Conducted a comprehensive site health check for BioHealth.ca.
- Generated a Site Health Report and an Internal Summary for client review.
