Advanced Editor Tools (formerly TinyMCE Advanced) is a WordPress plugin that enhances the content editing experience by extending the capabilities of both the Classic Editor and the Gutenberg block editor. It introduces a “Classic Paragraph” block, allowing users to utilize the familiar TinyMCE editor within the block editor environment. The plugin enables customization of the visual editor toolbar, offering up to four rows of buttons, including options for font sizes, font family, text and background colors, tables, and more. It also includes 15 TinyMCE plugins that are automatically enabled or disabled based on the selected toolbar buttons. Additional features comprise advanced table settings, search and replace functionality, and the ability to import and export settings. Importantly, Advanced Editor Tools does not collect user data, ensuring user privacy is maintained.
