Team Activity Summary – February 8, 2026

TASK DETAILS

On February 8, 2026, our team continued delivering consistent progress across news publishing, directory updates, client site maintenance, listings management, and internal coordination. Below is a consolidated summary of activities completed by each team member.

Nolan – News Publishing & Client Site Support

published multiple timely news articles on All About Durham, covering public health alerts and extreme weather updates affecting the Durham Region.

In addition, Nolan completed client-side content edits across 35 live websites, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Amela – Design Skill Development

Amela focused on skill development by learning the fundamentals of Canva design.

She studied layout structure, spacing, typography, and social media post formatting. As part of hands-on practice, she created a 4:5 Instagram post, reinforcing concepts such as canvas sizing, alignment, and text placement. The emphasis of the task was on understanding design principles rather than producing a final branded asset.

Maria – AI Prompting & Schema Learning

Maria completed structured learning on effective AI prompting, focusing on the 5-step prompt framework (Task, Context, References, Evaluate, Iterate). She applied these concepts to practical use cases, gaining a clearer understanding of personas, formatting, and iteration for real-world workflows. She also worked on Schema Pro video-related learning to support future structured data implementations.

Maya – Durham Directory Data Collection

Maya worked on enhancing the Durham Directory by identifying and verifying business locations using Google Search and Maps. She organized accurate business information into a Google Spreadsheet, ensuring addresses were correctly formatted into standardized fields such as mailing lines, city, province, and postal code.

She also attended coordination meetings with Alan and Nancy regarding Category Insights and Loom Narrative preparation, and a progress review meeting with Ben.
